Tie Rods hit shocks

So I have upgraded the shocks to a single one and built them up strong. They are great shocks. The only thing is the tie rod hits the shock when turning. It's not really a big deal I guess, but wasn't sure if there was a fix for that? And I don't remember when the shocks were stock if they hit then too?

Put a short spacer between the shock top and the tower then remount and see.

Or, mount them to the front side of the arm/tower vs the rear. That's how my big bores are mounted. On the rear, I got the integy axle carriers, so doesn't matter for me on the back.
