Seems like something that should be stock. I agree it would be good for new people. myself included. Although I think that being able to diagnose your engine by just listening is a good skill to have. I am getting better at listening to mine, but I am still learning. Just watch those HPI tuning videos in the newb forum, I still watch those once a week. It shows you what it like when it's wrong and when it's right.Save your money for an upgrade or for extra parts when you crash. Just my two cents.

You can grind notches into the brass of your high speed needle. So you have reference points.

Those are cool seen the b4 .. w/ a savage seems like under a BIG crash they would fall off

Looks like they got a set screw to me SJ, but I don't know for sure. The way we drive I'm sure we'd lose it anyway. I like FX's idea, cause it's free!
