In the process of converting my Savage X to brushless
Got the direct drive on order with Kershaw, not sure when I will get it.
definitely going to go 6S
In a local hobby shop last week checking out there brushless systems they sell
Looked over in the used and consignment items and saw something I did not recognize
Another customer had purchased a Yeti XL but did not want the stock motor, he wanted Tekkin
So they took out the stock ESC and motor. Its a 2200v system made by Castle.
According to what I was able to find on my phone at that time, it is a near identical system to the Mamba Monster 2.
The price was off so I got the guy to double check.
They only wanted $120
So I made a quick decision and got it. I figured for the money on a brand new system I could not go wrong.
Any input?
