The HPI Savage 3 Speed

Hi There!

I resently instaled a new 3 speed gear box for my savage x 4.6. I notised that it has two ajusters to ajust how quickly it changes gear. I can use the one for third just fine but the one for second is blocked. Is it set already or do i have to take it apart to ajust it.

Any help and I will be very grateful. Thanks!

i don't have the 3 speed installed so i don't really have an answer for you but noticed it was your first post and thought i would take the time to welcome you to the forum!! hang tight and someone will have some advice for ya I'm sure as everyone here is willing to help, so again WELCOME TO THE HPISF FAMILY!!

First off welcome to the forum! To adjust the shift points from 1st to second, unfortunately you have to take the top of the tranny off to adjust it. Yep it is a pain in the butt and it does take some time to get it right. But once set, I had no problems.

Second gear you have to open the top of the tranny box to get to it. Clock wise for a quicker shift from second to third gear.
