Tcs xl chassis or gcm desert boy ?

My thoughts
Gcm - batteries inside is a plus for me
Tcs 5mm - bashing
Can you raise the boxes up higher on the tcs ?
I don't have a flux yet but i wanna research before i buy one .
Strictly bashing for me .

$20 for the TCS 5mm tvps are a steal.
I'v NEVER heard of anyone damaging there batteries/ battery boxes because of the location.

Same as the nitro mid tank mod (250cc) people think just because the receiver box is on the out side of the tvp it's going to get damaged, it's not.

I would go with the TCS tvps just because there cheep and 5mm 🙂

Id be going xl size $45 but still a good deal and the 5mm is really catching my eye

i would go with the desert boy because the size and allows alot of different mounting options and alot of people complain that when they jump the plastic battery box mounts break often so gcm gives you option of having them inside.

Thats what i've been reading . I see a lot of people get their aluminum battery box mounts as well . But the whole inside the chassis is a plus to me . I'm not really liking the homemade cheesy foam insulation spacers for the batteries but I'm sure there is a fix for that

JEEBUS...Those are heavy duty looking TVPs from TCS!!! Too bad I don't have a FLUX...If only they made these for us Nitro guys...

Just found some nice looking tvp's from 1offrc.com 5mm
Gonna half to do some researching . I really like the inside chassis battery option of the Desert boy , but i haven't found a thickness on it yet ?
