This is one i have had a long time now, It is Tamiya's first try at a 1/8 nitro truck I got it new in 2000 and since then it has been bashed stock for a bit, Modded several times over and again, stock it is a pile and slow as molasses, but I have been doing things over time and it is actually a pretty fast truck, it is designed kind of like a T Maxx, but overall is unto itself, one thing I love to do is give my son and buddies fits with it, is handles very well on the bash field and the track both, lately I don't run it alot because parts are getting hard to find, it has a 2sp trans and goes about 30mph or so.... I did a 4.7mm New Era chassis plate on it, I scored a full set of Integy msr4 piggyback shocks for it and it has just about all the GPM alloy parts on it I could find, my latest addition is a set of TRX Summit 17mm hex drives so now all my nitros can run any wheel tire combo I have,
The engine is an OS CVRX .18 sitting on a GPM engine mount, the exhaust is cobbled together from stuff I had laying around a trx header that i ported a bit for better flow, On to a few pics of the truck. Enjoy....

the one on the right is stock, Mine is on the left

Latest thing is the TRX Summit 17mm hexes all around....

Thanks for looking at more of my addiction, keep watching I will be adding more as I go along.....

Thanks Joe
I love it, it has about 4 gallons on it now and still runs good every time I take her out....

I can't stand wings. But that one actually looks pretty nice with the body on.

Another good installment of "Yes, Jam does have one of those (as well as every other RC known to man)".

Thanks for the replies guys, Yes this one has a wing,, it is actually a wing and mount for a Losi LST, but with a couple extra holes drilled it fits the truck so well I couldnt resist...

I recently got this pipe from an E Bay seller, I haven't run it yet with the pipe installed, but I am sure it will be better than that stock plastic pipe that I had on it before, besides it is so shiney I could hardly resist buying it 😀

and of course I made the wire hangar for it also....
