After getting my savage 21 back up & running again one thing I noticed was the slop in my wheels even after replacing all wheel hubs & bearings still had movement. The only thing I could see where this could still be coming from was the 17mm wheel adapters I fitted many years ago that have slightly worn away, so found some 8 x 14 x 0.3mm shims to go behind the wheel adaptors. Managed to fit two on each wheel & even though it has not totally fixed it the movement is far less now & hopefully will help keep truck on the straight & narrow when blasting it on the straight! ??

Wish they made short shafts like that that would work with the HD bones. Would be nice to just use generic 17mm buggy/truggy hubs vs modifying something or using the crappy HPI hexes.
