Hey guys,as some of you know,i'm building a savy for my son,heres some pics of what i've been up to,it's a modest build,nothing fancy,just something he can run with,First off,T.J. and I would like to give much thanks to some of the awesome members on the forum for their help in Donating parts to his build.THANKS GUYS!


First off, i decided to mid tank this thing,so i needed to move the throttle/brake servo to the rear of it,and needed to fab up a throttle servo mount,this is what i came up with.

Next was to get rid of some of that purple stuff,with some help from, good ol Easy-off and a little Blue Magic polish and a little elbow grease.

don't know why i stripped and polished 4 upper braces,when i only need 2 of those.:dunno::istupid:still some fine sanding marks,gonna take some 600 grit sandpaper to it, and re-polish it out.

got a box from GRKSTL,with some shocks,wheels and other goodies,heres the shocks that i'll be running on this 25,these are already lowered using some 3/8" bump stops.Thanks again Bob

this is what the mid tank mod looks like,got this idea from souljah,thanks bro.
using a stock box and a 125cc ofna tank.

still need to get the fuel tank post to mount the tank.
also mounted the on/off switch on there.

this i where i'm at on the build,gotta get some screws and stuff together,for the knuckles and carriers and upper arms.gonna get rid of the stock roll bar in this pic and go with a stock x roll bar.thanks for lookin guys.Aloha Terrance 😛eace::cheers:

nope Max,still goin with the black,for one, had to get rid of that purple,and didnt want to paint those parts,besides chrome and black looks killer together.imo.:cheers:

I didn't read all the posts but if you put your tb servo there you wont be able to mount your motor. the servo needs to be on the outside of the tvps. nice fab work good job

nope,the throttle servo is fine where its at,mocked up the servo and bracket and mill,it all fits fine, thanks

i never had any probs with them mounted on inside of the tvps either its same as on the flm ones or ant of them ... fuel tan issues goes on inside on stock ones servvos thinner or same .. so no clearabnce issues ,,

Got some one off TVP's from Maximus,black with some sculls ghost into it,the chassis looks black until the sun hits it,than out comes the sculls,looks killer ,Much Thanks to Lyle for donating this chassis and TALENT we all know so well,another masterpiece by the Master,Thanks Bro.
