hey guys, i went to run the truck today and everything was going good untill i stopped for some fuel. went to crank her back up and noticed that the pull start wasn't pulling anything. so i figured ok fine it might need alittle cleaning. when i got home this is what i found
one way bearing bracket with a broken pin (rcesf10541)

has anyone had a problem with this before? maybe due to me using rotostart ? the mill was on roto start for the first 2 gallons and switched to pullstart about half a gallon ago.

i did a search on google and only came up with
stormer hobbies $17.95
and
quick tech hobby $24.00
anyone dealt with either of these sites? i'm so used to only going through smf that i'm alittle scared to go anywhere else
thanks
tobias

where did you end up buying the replacment part from? i don't really want to get it from just anybody, but i might have to since parts are harder to find now. thanks jester

It looks like the rod was moving off the crank pin and into the owb, judging by the wear marks it got hung up on those scoops which caused it to snap the pin. You may want to replace the rod at the same time, looks like it may have some damage as well.

I buy all my parts from racers edge bro

i checked their website with the part # and didn't have any luck. emailed them but haven't heard anything back yet.

do you think this is too much damage?
also the rod has about 1/8 inch play on the piston itself, is this normal? seems like alot to me but then again i've never been this far into the mill, i was always too scared i might screw something up.

thanks guys

does anyone know if the rod has too much play on the piston itself? it's about 1/8th inch front to back. what i'm worried about is buying a new bearing bracket and rod then this happening again. thanks

i'm definitely getting a new rod as well, i was just worried about the rod 's play on the piston causing the rod to wear on the one way bearing bracket again. how many of the parts are interchangeable? i never thought about going that route, thanks for the help
