when you did this was there trouble fitting the motor in. on mine the engine seems to sit way high even with a smaller clutch bell gear. does the mount need modding or is the stock one not meant to be used?
 
What spur gear and CB combo are you running? I know with my FLM's that with a 49t spur and 17t CB I had to grind on my TVP's some to allow the heads of the bolts to slide under the tvp on the right side. I just changed to 47t spur and all is good.
 
52/14 i took a little off of the tvp but didnt want to go bananas with it till i knew that was the way to go. i'd cut the motor mount but i have nothing that would guarantee that i did it dead straight.

Never would have thought that. Good comparison. Have you decided what body your planning to put on it?
