I have an sts D30M, they are great engines. Be careful though as STS is out of business and getting support may be tough.

I would not recommend an STS to anyone IMO. They are out of business and many people had bad luck with them, I had "ok" luck with them but I won't buy another one, just my .02.

I was lucky to get 6 gallons out of mine but others have gotten less than 2-3 gallons....

its pretty much playing roulette with them..

I agree with HPI Savage25. I have the STS D28M also and only got maybe 2 gal. through it before the front bearings started leaking. And since they are out of business now, and parts are hard to find, I'm thinkin about runnin it really lean until it blows up. Haven't decided yet. But, it's all a matter of choice. I will be gettin a new motor here in the next few days, either the LRP Spec3 Z28 or the Surefire 32R. Not sure which one yet.

yes parts are hard to find...ebay seller "dinball" and "rcmall" has alot of sts parts in stock and sells the motors.

FYI the lrp has parts issues too...they are hard to find...from what I have heard (rumor) the lrp z28 spec 3 is going to be discontinued soon.

go through their stores at those links you will find the parts that are available.

Hope this helps.
