well i stripped my slipper gear today i didnt even drive for 1 minute and it was stripped. now for the questions. What would have caused this??and what does this dial do on my transmitter would this have caused my slipper gear to strip??i say that because i was fidling with it rite before it stripped.

thats steering Dual Rate, it should change the limits of steering lock, and should have nothing to do with the stripped spur, have a look at the spur and post up a pic or a little more info, that should help diagnosis.
 
thx for the video and will the gear mesh come loose over time?? cuz i was out driving my truck earlier in the week and it was fine.
 
red is stronger, but it might be too strong, I used it on only a cupple screws on my savage, because it stripps out everything when I try to remove the screw, blue is good that should work well !
 
Hey, SJ. Red lock-tite will break down with the hot tip of a soldering iron on the bolt heads before you break'em loose. May not be practical at the track but, works great at the work bench. a butane solder torch is good outdoors with no AC available,
