Good job crash.

I might be doing the same thing to my Savage 25.

I have a set of road rages just need some rims for them.

hmmmm sounds like a project.

anyways good job looks good.

thanks parker,

I am going to make it four wheel drive, it is too crazy with rear only.

And I will be gearing it taller to get evan more topend.

Its wild to see a savy go so fast.

Ya I tried 2WD only once and it was fun for donuts but couldn't stand it.......

Once you gear it higher you better get a good vid of it! lol.

YES, It seems I never have someone to video for me. except the wife has said she will help with the contest video.

when I get it geared just rite with four wheel drive, it will be insane.

I'm going to take komodos idea and try a 33 spur from the revo and a 18 cb or 20 cb either way It wont be much off the line but, I doubt you could go full throttle with that combo.

Talking about night runs. I learnt that it's a bad idea to do night runs when all you can see are the lights on the reciver/esc. I was driving my mini-t in the dark a few nights ago but when i had had enough and picked it up the car was soaked. Turns out I couldn't see the puddles either. It survived luckily.

Crash that looks good. Could you use some fuel tubing inside the shock to limit travel and stiffen the springs. From the video it looks good as rear wheel drive. Under brakes would be the bad part. If you go back to 4wd you will loose speed.

hey guys
by the way big worm he said he cant spend any money
if u want 2 lower it easily if u add fuel tube 2 da inside of da shock or wot bout if u have some old shocks u don't use y don't u cut them down then u can have the shocks normal
just my opinion

Nice truck crash. You stole my next project idea. Can you read minds or something? The only diff. is that I'm gonna make my own TVP's again and maybe a few other parts. But, that's not til next year.

THANK YOU MEN

I like the fuel tubing idea, thanks guys.

I did not want to go four wheel drive but, its too crazy without.

you only have rear brakes too with two wheel drive.

Ill have my front diff parts this week.

I really need a radar, I want to know how fast it is.

I ran the slammed savy today, I think better street tires are in order.

maybe a set of hpi phatline tires and rims.

also, my steering servo is too weak for high speed turning.

I ran it today, wow I love this setup.

I know it cant be your only option, being 3/4 inch off ground it doesnt run well in the grass.

but, I put two dirt bonz tires on the rear today and added three spacers to the shocks and ran it in back yard.

can I say wow twice in one post, WOW this thing flys, because of high gearing it doesnt wheelie off the line it wheelies in the powerband, incredible. I had a blast driveing this thing today.

the biggest difference from stock is running rear wheel drive only, takeing off four shocks and gearing it 47 / 20

o 'ya and a bad a$$ axial 28 rr spec 1
its is fun.

Hey Crash.Way cool ride dude.I have been thinking about dropping my savy also.I saw a mod somewhere the guy had used a rubber tube over the shok shaft above the piston. Thus shortening the shock.I really like how you possitioned the mounts.I will be stealing this idea.O.K.? I got the parma not Chevelle shell, and painted it black ,lots of chrome, and my first flame job.It looks so sweet I want to turn it into a street racer.I have a school parking lot in my back yard that was just repaved.Man when the snow is gone my neighbors are going to hate me.lol, once again thanx for the idea.

Excuse my noobishness (as always), but wouldn't it be faster if you used different tires? The Phaltlines and Road Rages are smaller in diameter than many of the other tires, and obviously bigger tires = more ground covered per revolution.

Of course, larger diameter tires introduce a rash of other problems - increased ride height (decreased stability), more rotating mass (more stress on engine/tranny/etc.), whether or not the engine makes enough power to accommodate the larger tires, etc.

Just putting it out there that if the engine can handle it, larger diameter tires might push the top speed up even more...

I also feel that I should point out that 40 Series Road Rages on Chrome Axial 8-spoke Oversize wheels looks SICK. I will have to get some pics of my truck up as soon as I am back in the US of A...

Thanks for the kind words.

Yes, Yeah Yeah taller wheel's would make her faster.

so far its fast enough, lol

with the lower stance of this rig, I can take full speed turns np problem.

And with rear wheel drive only it will burn the tires off the line.

cool stuff

That is one sick looking rig you got yourself there Crash, I would recommend a set of Phatlines for the onroad. At the moment mine will handle full speed turns and do donuts, once I get the tyres warmed up on the road the handling is awsome.

I'm really tempted to ask a cop to borrow his radar gun to test it:Xfingers:
