Ok I am going to do some "mods" to the stock savage tank to try and stop the half tank lean. Once I get a tank I can use I will start the process and take pics along the way, then it will go into testing. If it works then should be nice and of course it will use the stock mounts. For now you will have to wait until you see what I have in the making...

:Xfingers:

Ok I won't leave you guys hanging, at least not completely.

Hint #1: It will require cutting of the tank
Hint #2: It will be a smaller tank

What do you guys think I am doing?

putting an angle towards the fuel pickup in the bottom of the tank so the bottom isnt flat anymore. be the easiest way and be able to hodl slightly less fuel then stock

to bond the plastic back together use a soldering iron, melts the tank plastic together real nice and keep adding material from cut plastic to the seam. i did this so many broken tanks at the track and they didnt leak and help up fine I'm still running one that i fixed 3 years ago

Thanks egiggy.....

I am in the process right now of making my marks on the tank, I only have 1 shot to make it right......

thanks boost for replying, so far its not coming out the way I want it. Trying to make it where I don't loose much run time but it doesn't look like it is very promising. If I did it right now the way I wanted to then my runtime would only be about 5mins, and its not worth it for that.

Oh ok Ive decided I'm just going to mount a 1/8th truggy tank where the std savage tank usually sits - Hopefully this will eliminate the half tank lean problem - ill post some pics and feedback when I'm done
