stock roll cage on extended flm's

everyone knows that the stock x cage is to short if you go to the xl chassis or the flms (any extended chassis) well here is what i did to fix that problem

took 2 upper a arms that i had lying around. cut them to length and drilled holes in the ends for the body mount to slide thru then bolted the cage mount inbetween the arm ends. works good and is pretty sturdy.

On a side note I haven't really had a problem with hitting my engine anymore with the extended FLM tvp's. I run just the plastic roll bar without the cage going to the back and if it slides on its lid it doesn't catch the head.

i like that BA. I'm gonna try that with my FLM chassis i got coming instead of the tall body post flip trick. your way looks far more sturdy. repped ya:resp:

thanks guys, came out good. i also havnt had problems with hitting the head with the flms and the wing but i don't mind the extra insurance to protect that lrp investment 🙂
