Steering issue on remote connection

Hi,
I am fairly new to RC, and have been trying to get a Savage 4.6 x revived after being in storage for a long time
My steering started going out while tuning, it would cut out on acceleration and come back after it was stopped. This went on for about 15 minutes and then the steering went out entirely.
I replaced the Servo, and now when I turn the cars receiver on and turn on the controller, the car makes a buzzing noise and the tires turn to the right, without doing anything with the controller. After a minute the controller gets warm.
Does anyone have suggestions for what could cause that?

I'm guessing the servo wasn't centered when you installed it.
Take the servo horn off and center the servo, see if it make the buzzing sound with out anything on.
You will be able to tell if it works as well, might have a bad servo or even a receiver.
