ok guys i have tried to search for this and couldnt find it , my problem is i took off 4.6 backplate and starter pin fell out, it is lost forever, does anybody know of any substitute so i can run this weekend?l my lhs doesnt stock it.

Maybe a grub screw? Cut it in half? Not sure man. That's a bad thing to lose. If you try to substitute it, it must be flat, and must fit the guide perfect; if not, you could end up with some MAJOR engine damage.

yea I'm going to order a new one, but i cant figure out exactly what engine i have i ordered a cooling head for 4.1 by mistake( did not read the description too well) it was too small. then i ordered a new backplate for 4.6 and it is too big,i don't see anything on motor to find out.

I've done the same thing before. To fix it I took one of the extra axel pins that came with my truck and grinded one end down until it was 3/16 of an inch in length. The diamater is the same so you don't need to worry about that. Just make sure you didnt lose the spring too.

you don't have to do this but, i used a drive pin in my .21bb before and it worked awesome, but the best thing to do is order a new one and wait it out

I just fixed my 4.6 vorza truggy (had the same problem) LITERALLY next run i kill the engine to refuel and it doesn't crank the engine again. I ordered a new one (pressure spring) cuz i think i just got a faulty pressure spring. How do i prevent it from happening again?
