eh i didnt like it on my comp caused me too many issues. and i use adware and love that instead guess it comes to prefreance
 
It works... I had it for years. downloaded the new Microsoft windows live onecare and I found issues on the cpu I had it on. so Long story short it works but it is a free program Parker. Not a top notch freeby.
For the record onecare also found issues on my other cpu that runs Norton and had Mcafee

SpyBot is good software, does a good job picking up stuff my AVG package misses.
Whatever you run, don't depend on one program to find everything. Have a primary antivirus and anti spyware program to actively protect your system, and another set of security programs to do redundant scans.

But um...wouldn't it be a better idea to ask about a program BEFORE installing it?
 
I used to rock Spybot S & D. But since I got my Comcast internet back I have just been using Mcafee. I never had a problem with Spybot though.
 
windows denfender is constaly on my vista lappy it works but i have avast 4.9 pro and comodo firewall one of the best out there and then malwarbtyes and my comp is clean nothing on it

i have avg, spybot, ccleaner, and adaware. this comp hasn't been reformatted in over 4 years and it still runs like the day i installed windows. my laptop, on the other hand, was the community laptop for about 2 days in college, it had 11 viruses and i had to reformat it.

It is a paid subscription yes. I got a 30 day free and now I'm buying it. I like it, works well. Odd whip said its defender caz defender is on all my rigs and one care found issues that it did not.

LOL I believe any thing you say about software 100% no questions asked. No need to show me bud! You make a living on the stuff and I know it..

unless your running vista, it asks you about everything, I went to turn my computer on this morning and windows defender popped up, said "you sure buddy?" [yes] [no]
