Spur gear

Have two savage 4.6 nitro and am melting spur gear I switched to steal and shredded clutch bell gear any suggestion

Get a hardened CB. Check out Robinson racing products. IMO the best/toughest clutch and spur gears out there for a savage

Once you get that clutch bell, make sure you're setting your gear mesh correctly. That will help those gears last a lot longer.

I had the same problem with melting spur gears all the time, I called Hpi and they sent me a metal spur with the harden clutch bell for free!

Check also your engine mount plate and braces if it's bent. Even if your mesh is perfect it will still ruin your spur and clutch bell. I replaced mine with this and never had an issue with my spur & clutch bell again:
