spur gear question.

This my be a stupid question but I wanted to know if it would be alright to put a plastic spur gear on my savage X SS. I understand that it comes with a steel spur but just incase if I needed to replace it and could not get my hands on one would a plastic spur be ok to use?

plastic spur will be fine and should fit in there no problem, as long as you get a single slipper spur and not a dual slipper.

Yah you should be able to swap it!

If you like the performance you have know just get the same size but in plastic !
