hi newbie here. I messed up my clutch bell and when i checked the part number on the manual it showed the 16T. I bought the XL used and previous owner replaced the spur gear with 47T. Now i have a 47T spur gear and a 16T clutch bell, should i buy an 18T clutch bell and stay 47T/18T or should i buy a 49T spur gear and go to what i believe is stock 49T/16T?

Thanks for the help.

Depending on the engine, 47/16 is a pretty good gear to run. I run 47/17 in mine with an LRP30 in it, mines an X, so it's shorter. When I ran 47/18, the engine could pull the gear, but the clutch slipped a lot until it got up to speed. So, I went back down to 47/17 and enjoyed the excess wheelies. :)
