Just a tip I saw the open filter on the 2nd truck. For running in snow I like to make a shield to keep my filters dry. Its just a beer or soda can cut in half and I give it a wrap with duct tap so it keeps its shape on impact and to cover its sharp edge. It wont impede air flow and is also good for mud and puddles too. Just drill a small hole and attach it with the stock air filter screw. Be sure your plastic end (filter top) is on all the way in its keyed position!
