Sloppy 3 speed...

If you look closely at these two pictures, you can see the slop between 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd gear. Is this much normal or should I start the hunt for shims to tighten this up? What does everyone think?

I'm pretty sure some shim the trans but i don't know alot about it!!!!

hey, my 3 speed is the same mines been fine but might benefit from shimming

yep mine was like that brand new. a couple of shims and most of that play went away

And mines only a 2 speed but it has "play" in it to!!!!
