So I was reading about the sidewinder 20% nitro fuel . It says not to use any after run oil as it had some sort of lubricant in it. That lubricant is a rust inhibitor. Is this true? Do I really not have to drain the lines, tank when storing? Do I need to add after run oil when I'm done? I hope there are people running this nitro that can tell me the good and bad. I have the Axial 32 and LRP 28 yet to break in and want use sidewinder. Oh forgot the lable on the back said not to add after run when done. Cheers in advance!!

I run it and I use after run if it's gonna sit for more than a week. Nitro fuel draws in moisture no matter what kind of rust inhibitors they put in it. Look at this way...you got nothing to lose by using after run.

i run it too and i don't put after run oil at all and don't have any problems but the lrp is going to get after run oil

i run sidewinder all the time and at first i did use after run oil after every run but i found it makes it harder to start "to much oil sitting in the engine I'm guessing" so i only used it for over the winter and will probabally do it first startup this spring just so its not a dry start!! and i always use a couple drops when I'm starting a new engine for the first time as well!!

That could be debated forever on what is best. I use O'Donnell's 20% RTR and never had any fuel issues so I thinks its best-but then again I have never used anything else.
It all comes down to personal preference IMO. Kinda like gas stations although now a days with that most go for the cheapest!

i wouldnt say its the best out there but i've used it for awhile now and never had a problem plus it has a bit more oil (16%) then some of the others which is a bit more engine protection and its a bit more forgiving to those who arent a tuning pro!!

I was a 1st time Sidewinder user this weekend and I've got gotta admit that I'm pleasantly surprised with the results. Once I got the truck retuned, it ran like a champ!

I use after-run oil after ever run. Even though I store mine in a controlled environment, Houston is very humid, so I take no chances.
