shims & nova diff-cups?

OK, I got 6 nova diff-cups and I`ve ordered 6 sets of gears.
43t/13t gears and the gears inside the diff as well as 6 gaskets.
when viewing the parts list of the SS 4.6 I couldn`t find any shims like the ones in the XSS diffs.
even the replacement parts list of the XSS doesn`t show any shims.
the question is should I use shims in nova diff-cups and if yes where can I find them?
my stock plastic diff was completely destroyed when hitting the ramp high in 3rd gear, one of the gears was broken in 3 pieces and one piece was sticking out of the plastic diff-cup.
I want them to be as durable as possible because my sav has to take a lot of serious abuse.

Savageo28 uses Nova alum diffs and he mentioned to me that he does use shims. He did say what part number or where he go them from. PM him as well as I will keep an eye out to see when he logs on. I'd like to have that info as well.

bevel gears

my bevel gears are ripping apart on my x .the 13 tooth and the 43 tooth.do they make harden ones? any suggestion.
