Sorry for the dumb question, but what exactly does the servo saver do? I know it saves the servo. Actually how does it work and should it be upgraded. I have already replaced my steering servo. Can the servo saver be adjusted?
Thanks guys for all the awesome info!!
Chris

what servo saver you have? it a stock one from the savage x? if it is its a good one .. and its adjustable .. it has a v cut into one the post and is spring loaded .. so when it hits something the two parts rotate and compress the spring to take the impact off the servo itself .. adjust the ring on the cam. and youll save your servos.. if to tight and the servos not that great itll strip the servo ... same as if its to lose it will let your truck walk all over with the slightest bumps n hits ..hope this helps .. hard for me to describe with out showing you ..lol

I do have the stock servo saver. I will have to take a closer look at it and figure out if mine is adjusted correctly. So I take it the HD spring is not necessary.
