For the battery pack I would go with the Elite 1500 pack..

Just if you need the info for the pack. Go to the drop down box and click on the 6.0 volt,then select the offset brick,then click on the 1500 elite,then select what size wire,then select the end which would be the hitec male.Then you have the option of upgrading your pack. Some peeps do it,some don't.. This pack is probally oneof the best packs you can get for you money.Only 22 bucks shipped without the upgrade.
As for the servo the questions is what type of radio are you using? Digital, fm, am? This will helps us with what servo to go with.

great advice on the pack. on the servo, choose something with at least 200 oz. torque and metal gears.
