Could it be that my gear mesh is not set up right?? As I just put the engine mount back with engine??Try to tighten your slipper, the big gear your foot was on top of. There's a nylock nut in the middle.

Tighten the slipper and than undo half turn? Thats how it should be done?doubt the gear mesh is the problem, Like Jr said above check the slipper and see that it is tight......
Just looking in the savage manual and thats what it says but I check that and do it fullythere is no set way to have the slipper set up, i have mine fully tightened as i don't want any slip, you have it the way you want it
