savage x shock preload spacers

i saw a forum awhile ago and someone was talking about taking off the shock spacers so i tried it and the truck sits way lower and looks awsome so is this ok to do as long as I'm not pulling 30 ft jumps and stuff lmao?

I used to do that, you'll be fine. IMO put some 40 weight in the shocks if your gonna do that though.

so what are you trying to achieve, just a lower ride height? It's like the same concept for real cars, you can't just drop the coils without changing struts/shocks. If you're running the lighter stock oil, then you'll bottom out the suspension quicker and easier vs running a heavy oil to help soak up some of the shock.
