But seriously, that's quite an undertaking and I'm sure it will turn out great. I would like to do a project as well. But I'm still a noob and I'm gonna just keep bashing for now.

I wanted to build/assemble one from scratch, everything will be from ground up really. That way I can truely call it my own. So far I'm looking around 600 dollars + give or take a few,but looking at a "Long Term" 1000 dollar budget at the moment

honestly man your not crazy at all, we all have the same type of personality, some people don't understand but if it makes you happy why not!!! jeez my gf just got a 1400$ on a purse wtf! i look at it like stupid crazy *#*$ but then again she saved up for a while and really wanted it, something i will never understand..... so it goes the same for us and are toys lol

damn i haven't even started my savage, its been siting on my desk now for a week, !!! i cant wait for this summer to break it in!

Yeah I'm already in the process of getting stuff ready for order. The savy is stripped down, parts catalogued etc...I want to get it done by at the least Late April , early May. I got the Hellfire arms coming to me Tuesday of next week, so Ill begin the modding on those to get the correct fit. I promise Ill get pics up soon as i can guys, my wifes camera took a major dump atm lol.

Yes, please get up pictures as you build we would all like to see the progress.

I'm not really sure that the savage is really worth making into a truggy as the front steering isnt quite set up correctly, the shock towers arnt LCG or atlease untill I make some or something. But it would be fun just doing the build and having it made yourself which would be worth the experience.
