Savage X parts Vs. XL

Just have a quick question. Will most of the parts for the x 4.6, fit the XL? besides the rear drive shaft of course. Anybody run an XL that would be able to answer this?

Yes alot of the parts on the XL are the same as the X.........A Arms... Bearings... things like that...

These questions seem to be popping up quite a bit. Although I do not have an XL, the differences I know of are the dogbones are different sizes which means the drive cups are different (X=9mm bones, xl=11mm bones). The hubs are different in that the XL hubs are longer and are bigger to take the 11mm xl dogbone and I think(but not sure) that the motor mount may be different. I am sure I may have missed something but I am also sure someone will post up other differences I don't know about. BTW welcome to the greatest forum on the internet. Great to have you here.

yes i have an xl and all the parts will work exept the dogbones and the drivecups because they are bigger

i have already used stuff off the x and it seemed to work great
