hey everybody i cant seem to get my savage to idle without holdin the gas part way open on the radio until it get around 200 degrees. this is the first time trying to start it i did put a new glow plug in but same thing happens.any help would be great thanks.:bang:

Just adjust the carburetor's idle speed screw slightly until you reach the desired rpm. Don't do it with the trim setting your radio or you'll have rpm problems when you hit the brakes.

So u already broke it in right??? if so bring it up to temp (u might have to adjust the linkage) keep up posted

yeah its broken in finally it is a blast to drive. it idles good when it reaches about 180 but its a fast idle so i cutting it back a little at a time thanks for the advice time for more bashing after work.
