Savage x 4.6 RTR stock shock oil weight?

Can anyone tell me what weight the shock oil is that comes in the X 4.6 RTR model? I've already bent a shock shaft and will be replacing the shaft tonight.

I just switched to 55....let you know how it goes.

Didn't know they made 55, but 50 wt will be very very stiff and the handling will not be good.

I had 45 weight for a bit, and it was way too thick. Now I'm running 27.5. It's good, may go back to 30 next time, or 32.5. That's seems to be the area that I like though.

I ended up calling HPI about the stock weight, they said it was 30.

Yeah I have mixed feelings about the 55. It was great on soft beach sand but it gets really bumpy in the rough terrain. Once you get used to it though its not so bad, you just go a little faster and learn how its gonna bounce. It can actually bash pretty well like that and hit the big drops without hammering to hard on the belly.
