I'm assuming you are talking about running 8 big bore shocks. I pretty sure that you can I've seen it done. It will be pretty stiff so you'll want to play with spring and oil combinations.

I'm running 8 CEN Genesis shocks with 40wt oil. You can try different weights to see what works best for you. You can also run 4 CEN Genesis shocks and 4 stock for a different ride. Experiment. If you go with the CEN shocks over the Big Bores, I wouldn't run only 4 unless you get stiffer springs. Too soft otherwise. Tends to bottom out.

You can pick up 8 CEN's that are similar in style (except not aluminum) for less than $40.

I will also be running 8 CEN shocks on my Savage XL conversion. With the 1717 MMM XL, two 4S lipos it should be just about spot on. Hopefully I won't have to chase different spring options.

Thanks for the vid above. Very helpful. I didn't even think about the steering turnbuckle getting in the way.

Running multiple shocks on an rc is the same as a full size truck. Youll need thinner oil and lighter springs than with single shocks.
It should bottom out on the biggest jump youll hit.
