Savage x 4.6 Reciever battery

So, I have 2 NiMH receiver packs. Both need replacing. Before I spend the money for replacing old technology. Any thoughts on going LIFE batteries or even LiPo with bed?

There are LiPo batteries that fit the Savage battery box, personally I find the NiMH batteries plenty for my nitro rigs and they beat the price of LiPo's by quite a bit.....

I run 2600mah lipos that fit perfectly in my savages and last longer than NiMH batteries.
