Savage Wins Australian M/T Championships 2009

Well yes its true the Carbon Fiber Super Savage won the Australian Title on the week end in South Australia at the Southern Districts Model Car Club's track, After the heats on Thursday, Friday & Saturday the savage had the TQ position for the final.


The savage drove a nice and clean race with the Extreme Rc Mods modified Picco 28 never missing a beat through out the final, the winning margin was 6 laps clear out in front at the end of the 45 minute final with 4 other monster trucks on the same lap fighting it out for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th positions, i hope you enjoy the videos & pics

Thanks for the kind words guys, it was a great event and the track was well set up with small jumps that could bring you undone in an instant if you where off your game, i can tell you in the 10 minute practice heats i jumped every jump including doing the triple-double on the 5 pack jumps but for the amount of times i got it wrong and was on my lid it was faster to double single single single the 5 pack of jumps and stay on my wheels every lap, i even double double singled them in the 6 heats but again small timing mistakes where punished with roof time and thats not the way to win a national championship.....

The pit girls walked around for 3 days ( 4 girls ) and wow :loveford:
