I'm in the break in process. And fixed the first problem i had, but now i have another one. After i have my savage x 4.6 running for a bit, the throttle goes crazy, the car even moves a bit when holding the break. (i don't believe the LSN is to lean because its quite sluggish) do anyone have any advice how to solve the problem?

Is the trim correct on the radio and is the slide on the carb being pulled open by the linkages.

If so then adjust them so they are neutral.

If not, turn the idle screw out a little.

Once the motor worms up the RPM's will increase on a fresh motor.

you say that its normal that increase in RPM's is normal but how much?
Is just like giving full throttle.
do you mean to give gas and then set them back to neutral?

fred, take a look at section 2-9 p.15 of the owner's manual, its gives a pretty good description with pics.

If that doesnt help then take some pics of the carb at neutral, full throttle and brakes on.
Take the air cleaner off before you take the pics so we can see down inside the carb.
Also, what temps were you running? It might have an air leak and be leaning out.

Check the trims on your radio, you don't want high rpm and brake at the same time because you can brun out the clutch pretty quickly.
