Stainless steel screws are only good for Shelf Queens! Not sure what the SMF kits were like but I'm in dire need of a new screw kit myself.

The SMF screw kits are great! I've had 2 kits in the past and loved them.

It would be awesome if you could talk to Nick into bringing SMF back, it was so great being able to have a one stop shop for all you Savage needs. I've shopped other places and wasn't very impressed. SMF has always done me right ever since I joined

firstly... what makes these smf kits awesome?
why are they not stainless? as my current hex screws are starting to rust a little from moist conditions....
Is it a complete entire screw kit?? or is it missing some screws?

will be a complete kit and stainless kit is not good they will rust fast

it is an assortment of every hex bolt (including cooling head bolts) & nylock nuts to rebuild your entire savage with plenty of extras.

They are hard-steel, great quality and assortment.

why are they not stainless? as my current hex screws are starting to rust a little from moist conditions....

stainless is quite a bit softer than hard steel. you'd strip out many hex heads with stainless. hit em with a little wd-40 if the rust bugs you.

Don't get them wet or if you do get it wet make sure you get it dry again. These trucks cant take care of themselves.
