Savage Screw Kit

Can someone recommend me a good Savage Screw Kit that is not too expensive.

I bought a screw kit off ebay but it only includes metal to metal screws. No plastic to plastic screws.

Which kit did you get?

The machine screws are better than the coarse thread ones in my opinion -i use them everywhere... I don't have any phillips or coarse thread screws on my truck at all...

As for needing screws - do you need specific ones, or just to start a stockpile? Personally, i buy fasteners in bulk from either Fastenal or McMaster-Carr - but they come in boxes of 100 or so. They run about $5-$6 per hundred.

If you just need a few different ones, I would recommend the following:
- M4x10mm
- M4 nylon lock nuts
- M3x20mm
- M3x12mm
- M3 washers

I find these are the ones i use most often. If you like, tomorrow i can pull the part numbers and links if you like.

Good idea orcusomega. Think ill do that. What ever you do. Just stay away from rc screwz. They are so soft. Not worth the money. Ide stick with machine screws Allen head all the way.

Agreed!
I ordered a set of RCSCREWZ for the XL and it was "supposed" to be a complete kit as advertised. When I got the kit, it had only a few screws that were compatible and the rest were no where near close to stock savage screws!
Stay away from RCscrewz! Also, a few of the screws DID strip the allen head, and they are advertised differently.

i found out the hard way about rc screws. i pitched them all . the case they come with is nice tho. i still use it for my screws
