Savage rim/tire question.

I'm trying to whip my Savage .25 back into shape and need some new tires. How do I know if a certain tire will fit my new X rims?

They are maxx size. Just don't get 40 series, 420,s or oversize tires without getting 40 series rims to match.

Here is my tired old Savage 25 RTR after the rebuild.

Went with the Pro-Line Maxx Mashers with a 17mm conversion, Stock X rims and diffs, new bulkheads and diff houses front and rear, rear A-arms, rear skid plate, bumber braces, aluminum shoes, fresh 15T bell, front shock tower, chassis braces, tie rod ends, X header and pipe, new bearings, new fuel line and a getto engine roll cage. On top of all that it got an inside and out cleaning with a tooth brush while it was dissassembled. It's in the best shape it's been in a long time!

I think the HPI Savage is destin to be a classic and mine deserves to be kept at least some what origional, I bought it on Dec '03 and plan to keep it forever.
