I'm having trouble with my slipper clutch nut coming loose after a few minutes of run time. Before I thought it was the slipper clutch burning up so I repaved it with HPI heavy duty pad. But it seems the nut always backs it self out or off. I always replace the nut with a new one every time I take it apart. Is there a remedy?

Run that slipper tight, I have mine tightened all the way up and it stays, if I loosen the nut any at all it will keep loosening up......

If you tighten it all the way doesn't it not allow the slipper to not function the way it should? And I have tried 1/2 turn out and it does the something and I did use locktite, very frustrating !

If you were racing, then yes. But for bashing, the slipper is really only a failsafe in case the driveline locks up.

The slipper will slip at some point no matter how tight the nut is.

Like i have said, even when locked down the slipper still does function..... I beat the snot outta my savage and I am running the slipper locked down tight with zero problems with the nut backing off and causing trouble...
