I would have stuck with mugen, but couldn't find any 100k+ available. Guess I should have looked harder. Spent half an hour on ebay and couldn't find any in the US. Should have checked for the mugen home site and looked elsewhere for the part # vs trying to search the cst number.

For anyone looking, and for myself for future reference, the mugen part number and oil weight, which appears to be cst:
B0324 - #1,000
B0334 - #2,000
B0321 - #3,000
B0322 - #5,000
B0350 - #6,000
B0323 - #7,000
B0317 - #10,000
B0337 - #15,000
B0338 - #20,000
B0318 - #30,000
B0319 - #50,000
B0341 - #60,000
B0343 - #80,000
B0320 - #100,000
B0345 - #200,000
B0347 - #300,000
B0351 - #500,000
B0349 - #1,000,000

That was annoying to type.

Also in image form lol, so I could save the list locally for future reference:

Well shes all back together ready for my first run. I ended up putting in the silicone ear plugs and a small amount of 30w diff oil in as well. It is certainly very tight but can turn the cups with a couple of screw drivers. Will see how it goes. Hopefully the weather will play ball

Forgot to ask I think, what diffs are you running? The newer BP 29/9 or older 43/13? Guessing your going to need the 29/9 to hold up to that setup. Trying 4S or 6s?

Got to run 2 packs through the savage and everything went well. Temps were nice and cool and the CD worked real well no unloading of the front wheels. Its a handful on 6s but I like that. Had to change back to my 14mm hex wheels as not getting the traction. Going to have come up some sort of wheelie bar now as basically destroyed the truggy shell. Overall real happy will run another couple packs through it and then pull the CD out to see how the silicone ear plugs are cooping

For what it's worth, I tried to do a little test with the diff oils I have compared to the associated 100k and 200k. Not the most scientific, but I pulled a drop out of each bottle while trying to end up with the same size dot on a plate, then I stood the plate almost vertical to see how far each oil moved. Figured it's the same plate, same angle, at least I can possibly see how they all react.

This was after about 30 minutes.
OFNA 3k - Mugen #50000 - Associated 100K - Associated 200k

So, the associated oil is thicker than the 50k mugen. Was a real pain getting a dob out of the bottle and onto the paper off my awl with the 100/200k. A buddy of mine put associated 500k in his center diff on his talion and we run the same tires. I like how his reacts, if I had known the brand/weight of what he used, I would have gotten that, but I didn't think to text him until after I made the order. I'll start with the 200k in the center and leave the front/rears with 50k. If I take them apart in the future, I'll replace with 100k as 50k is too light for my taste on an MT with big tires.

Started on making my own wheelie bar. Going to try and use the wing mount brackets from the donner truggy. Fitted it up with the wheel from the XL to see what it looks like, not sure as it sticks a bit ? It will be a two wheel set up when I find some more wheels

Wheelie bar completed :) Fitted up well and feels quite solid. Have left the top mounting bracket just in case I want to change the position of
the wheel for wheelie angel. Hopefully no more destroyed  body shells

Well I have now ran 4 packs at 6s through the savage and so far no problems been a mixture of grass and some full speed runs on tarmac just to see how the center diff holds up and so far impressed with the silicone set up in the diff , it must be doing some work as the temp in the diff been reaching 26 degrees C and motor running between 32 degrees C / 45 degrees C. The new wheelie bar has held up well and made a huge difference. Decided to pull the diff apart just to have a look and check for any wear. Still has the same resistance in diff action and when pulled apart all the gears inside showed no sign of wearing. Pinion and spur also looked good. Have some 50 weight diff oil I want to try in the front and rear diff

I run mugen 60k in my front/rear diffs. If I have to take them apart again, I'll replace it with associated 100k. 60k isn't quite enough for me, especially with the trenchers.

Found a hobby shop here in NZ that was selling old stock MT bodies. Only problem was they were 1/10 scale so made a ph call they gave me some dimensions which seem ok so thought I would take the risk $ 20.00 for the two. Turned up so mounted the blue one up. Wheel arches a bit out LOL :wacky:
