okat fellas I'm thru with this roto start the one way bearing went out in less then 3 days. Please tell me what i need and were to get it so i can change over to pull start.

you need
a new owb, and a pullstart assembly for the engine you have

tower hobbies, last resot
a-main hobbies, good people
SMF, if they have it, AWESOME people

Try to clean the OWB up ... scuff the shaft up a bit and .. don't use traxxas or blue thunder fuel

damn i just bought some blue thunder could that be why the owb went out so quick

what is wrong with blue thunder fuel

the oil content is too high for the style OWB in non traxxas engines. it gets onto the starter shaft coming out of the rear of the engine, and causes the owb to slip. if a slipping owb isnt taken care of quickly, the bearings seize up in the carrier and cause the bearing to not work at all.
