I have an old Savage 25. I'd like to start putting tougher Savage X parts on it starting with the Steering. I've been reading her they are the same trucks. If I had the money, I'd buy one outright but I don't have the money and I'd rather build one anyway. So can I buy Integy Savage X steering and put it on My 25?

Pretty much any part made for the X is interchangable with the 25 truck....

Yes I looked in to it when I bought a savage25 truck off ebay it needed a lot of tlc.one thing it needed was bulkheads I had some parts off my savage x that I was putting on it and was going to put all savage x parts on it but in order to put the bulkheads on it it required changing the diff housings which I was not about to do being the were fine.
