Any of the available big block nitro engines will fit the chassis....

The LRP 28 S3 is a good strong engine. Might be hard on the diffs if you didn't upgrade them yet. I run one in my X and it's a lot of fun. The tires I run are similar in size to stock and I run 47/17 gearing with the BP diffs and 2 speed trans. The engine has plenty of pull for that gearing. I just installed an 18T bell and 7075 clutch in it for next year. 17/47 was pretty fast... and lots of wheelies.
I also run one in my old OFNA buggy with 50K oil in all 3 diffs and I have one in my big block revo.
They last a long time too if taken care of. Break-in is a bit rough, but at about 3/4 gallon, they really open up and the tune gets stable. Then it's just a lot of smiles all day long.
