Runs ok for few, then has no power

hey my savage.. runs ok for a few minutes ( i am still breaking it in. then it stops moving and wants to die when i try to throttle up.. I'm not sure.. if somebody else had has this issue your help would be greatly appreciated!

If you are still breaking it in then your tune is likely rich. This is pretty common behavior.

Ok thankyou! So i would adjust the high end needle clockwise?

Yup only a couple hours on the clock face tho, don't go too much....

Yeah I'm adjusting the high end needle . And now i cant keep it running . I'm not sure whats going on

Have you reset the idle gap to 1mm or so, also may want to bump up the idle speed just a bit....and yes you can adjust the mixture while it is running also

How many tanks have you run through it

ran about 10 tanks

Change the sparkplug and make sure the sparkplug wire is not crossing over the ignition box. Also put some kind cover over the sparkplug wire and clean the air cleaner filter

You should be pulling the front wheels off the ground after ten tanks

ok i will do that tomorrow . yeah i was hoping for that , but its been really cold when ive been breaking it in. I'm not sure if that would affect anything. and half the time its been having this issue so actual run/ drive time is much shorter.

I found out that mine runs better when it's above 50 outside
