Yea I might as well they say u get $50,000 per year if your wrongly convected of a crime and spend that much time in the big house... Also if your on DEATH ROW !! you get $100,000..... PER YEAR!!!!! Damn sounds like a plan !!! Just think of all the toys u could get plus, free food room and board......

On a similar note it costs states between $30,000 and $40,000 per year, per inmate to house them in prisons. Thats fricken nuts, I'm so down with the 3 strikes and your thrown into a never-ending pit that if which did end would be filled with lava and bird flu...
 
that sounds like a plan as long as you don't the injection before they figure out you didn't do it. I will go with the 3 strikes rule also
 
good luck getting sent to jail!!! folk go out and beat and rape people round here and all they get is community service or a fine, both if the judge has had a bad day. big woop. everyday u pick up a paper some wee bastard has got away with another sickening crime. on the other hand, if u do more than 10mph over the speed limit, straight to jail, don't pass go, don't collect 200 pounds!LOL
 
the main reason (jumps onto soap box) is bloddy damn (i want to swaer more, so i'll just type this...) ************************************* illegal immigrants are crowding our prisons. DEPORT THEM!!!!! i agree tho, our justice system sux monkey nuts. bring back public excecution!!!

i totally agree. if they want to come here and work and help bring new/lost skills back to our country then brilliant, i appreciate it. its the illegals and criminals that come over here and commit horrible sick crimes and nothing gets done about it. then u find out they were in jail in their country for murder. how the hell is a murderer allowed into our country like that to commit again?!!

I'm not rascist and have no probs with people cummin over to live and work here, IF ITS DONE IN THE CORRECT PROCEDURE!!!
 
i work in a county jail as Detention Officer. You would not believe the amount of crap inmates get away with. Once you are incarcerated all of your civil rights are in the spot light. Heaven forbid if you should hurt their feelings or make them upset for some reason. I've actually seen several officers get fired for defending themselves against an inmate who assaulted them first. Here's how it goes... If an inmate strikes you. strikes you anywhere with anything including spit,urine feces etc. and then becomes compliant by returning to his cell of laying on the floor, you can't do anything other than handcuff them and have them escorted out. then go wipe the stuff off and finish your day. How much bullcrap is that!!!!!!
 
A friend of mine had urine thrown right in his face by an inmate who was already on disclipinary lockdown for aggressive behavior towards staff. when he took the inmate to the floor BECAUSE HE WAS ACTING AGGRESSIVE. HE WAS FIRED FOR EXCESSIVE USE OF FORCE. If you want to reduce crime in your area you need to stiffen the local jail policies. if you ask an inmate in our jail why he keeps coming back, he'll tell you because this jail is easy and you can't get in trouble for anything you do while you in here.
 
check this out. Inmates get to spend 75.00 per week on snack foods. such as chips,candy bars,cookies, cool-aid,coffee,tea,hershey kisses,hot balls etc. you get the idea. they also get free health care no matter the cost. I've seen inmates come in for tresspassing and get a 100,000 heart bypass surgery for free. the get 3 free meals a day.full cable t.v, free telephone usage. free medication. special diets if they need it and the list goes on and on.I sat down one day and did some math. If we were to charge 1/2 of the inmates in our jail .30 cents per meal (they have a 3000 calorie a day diet) that would save the tax payers 1 MILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR!!!! that money could go to the schools of something more usefull than an inmate who is nothing more than a pimple on the *** of society,who raped your 2 year old daughter,killed your wife and family,then stole all your money and your car. went to the beach,lived it up for weeks,then finally got caught.went to jail and lives like a king getting everything he wants and his own way. lets not forget that this dirt bag was caught with your atm card,vehicle,the jewelry he stole from your wife that he killed, a picture of himself raping your 2 year old daughter that he took because he's a pedifile, not to mention that he still has blood on his clothes that matches your or your wife. But he's still innocent until proven guilty and you can bet with all that evidence against him he will say he didn't do it and you better not violate his civil rights because he will contact his lawyer who will contact the sheriff who will contact the major to the captain to the your sgt and then you will be terminated because you hurt this dirt bag,lowlife,degenerate,who doesn't deserve to live another second on earths' feelings. thats pretty much what wer all complainin about bud! its unreal. imo if u commit a crime and go to jail, U HAVE NO HUMAN RIGHTS!!
 
Tall tree, short rope. Thats how you handle murderers, rapists and repeat offenders. A sharp knife works well for child molesters.....not going to elaborate, just think about that one. The justice system is lame. We need to get back to our roots and bring back public hanging, and the rack. I may be a hard liner, but I am sick of criminals getting away with anything they want.
 
i just dislike the culture of 'if you hurt me i'll sue the a** off of you' i remember a while ago a robber fell through a tesco's or sainsburry's (like wall mart in the us i guess, big multi-branch supermarkets) roof after they were shut, and he SUCCESSFULLY (??!!) sued them for injuring himself on the unsafe roof, it went to court and everything...wtf??!! why was he on the roof, to steal, he hurt himself, tough. we take from the innocent and give to the guilty. sucky pants rubbish.
