So I’ve been all through rc from old brushed electric to nitro and brushless and I am completely stuck on why I can not get this engine to run I know the motor is good. I can get it to start by covering the exhaust and priming it and it’ll fire right up but it’s like as soon as the tank loses pressure it shuts off I’ve checked all hoses and exhaust for leaks.... nothing I can get the motor to stay running if I blow through the hose to pressurize the tank but as soon as I stop blowing it stalls off. I know the fuel is older could that be the issue? I’m out of ideas any help would be great!

sounds like possibly the muffler could be plugged. if its been sitting a long time or old, it may need replaced or cleaned. also check exhaust gasket between header and engine block if cracked, rotted or burned, keep replaced! also check the head screws for tightness.
