I know that most of you guys running the ofna 250 midtank put the receiver box on the side of the TVP's but I was trying to find another way to mount it so I didn't have it sitting out there not that there is anything wrong with that I just didn't like the look of it. I deceided to mount the box to the front of the rear shock towers since I have a wing off the back. I have flm ext tvp's and a picco .26 w/ THS pipe and header and when mounted I have a little more than a 1/2 inch clearance between the box and header more than enough I am sure to keep it cool. Here is a picture I snaped this morining still have a bit of work to do to button it all up.

Looks good there, i had mine on the front of my front shock tower for a while, but now have it on the side of my FLM TVP.

I may just put it there now though for a cleaner look and of course its a bit more protected there.

Nice Pope, you stole my idea... hehe that is the spot I was looking at for when I do my 250cc mid tank mod this winter. Please let me know what you do with the wires. having the battery at one end and the reciver/servos at the other end I am not sure what to do while keeping the wires neat. Do you think you are going to use some kind of wire cover to protect them? One thought I had was to take off the connectors on the wires and fish them through fuel tubing for protection. Then use thoes tubing holders to keep the wires neat. It looks like there are plenty of screw holes on the FLM TVPs to accomidate all this.

Any particular reason you put the receiver box in the rear and the battery box in the front? Why not put the battery box in the rear as well.

Edit- Just saw you have a wing back there, do you think it would fit still.

I was thinking about trying this when I get my parts, but have not figured out just how to mount it yet without the parts in my hands. Good job, it looks clean that way.

No no way you are getting a rush box back there with the wing. anyway the rush box looks so good in the front.

Magoo I just have the wires ziptied in place for now. I am going to have to figure something out. any advice on this wire issue would be great.

I made my own out of some carbon fiber I had. My problem is how to secure the wires from the batt. and the servos.

Sorry about that. Read in wrong. How about running the wires through that small black flex tubing. That way the wires are protected from the elements and if you zip tie the tubing you might have less chance to cut into the wires on a bad jump. Plus I thing it will give it a nice clean look.
