Well I think I found out my ongoing issue I have been having with my truck since last summer. I believe the reverse linkage is getting somewhat stuck causing severe drag on the drivetrain. It's almost like its sliding out of forward into neutral and then to reverse while under hard acceleration. I will try to post some pics when I get my camera back. Either way that reverse module is got to go!

Sounds unfortunate Blazer, I've never had a problem with mine. Oh apart from when the entire reverse shaft sheared in the G box :hardlaugh: My fault trying to cheat during a race :hardlaugh: If it breaks on me again, I'll be shedding some weight !

Sage1337 is right. You need the shaft. I am just about to remove my reverse ,but I installed it from the kit ,so I still have the shaft.I checked this thread because I had not decided whether to take it out or not, now I am convinced. It has got to go .Besides the weight , you have to consider the rotating mass.If I encounter an obstical I will just walk.Thanx guys!http://http://s251.photobucket.com/albums/gg290/douglasconrad/Dougs%20Passion/?albumview=slideshowI will have to do this in reverse

I say if you encounter an obstacle drive into it hard enough you bounce off. That's my reverse.

I got stuck so many times today in long grass. The savage kept ending up sitting on top of it with the wheels off the ground. The grass was really tall but not thick at all. I think I need to add weight to my savage not remove it. Maybe I should just strap a reverse module to my truck
